Blue Ribbon Day

Wow- hello everyone out there!

This is my first post on this website and I am so very excited to embark on this journey! My primary intention on creating this blog was a way for me to keep track of all of the crazy things that go on in my life. I graduated from the University of Tennessee and have been here in this great city of Atlanta for about a year now working as a nurse. I've gotten the apartment (all 700 sqaure feet of it), met some wonderful people, and have started not having to use my GPS everytime I want to buy groceries. I'd say that is pretty exciting!

This first post is dedicated to my AMAZING sister, Katie, who has been such an incredible influence to me. Not only is she my older sister but she is my best friend! She graduated from UGA, so that is really the only thing this UT Volunteer fan has to hold over her head. Katie has always been fascinated by horses and riding. As long as I can remember she has been involved with different schools, lessons, teachers, and jumping. She rode in her first show in quite sometime this weekend and I am happy to report--SHE KILLED IT!!!! Taking home two blue ribbons, Katie and her horse Degen rode in a Dressage competition and I couldn't have been more proud. Here are a few pictures to show you this dynamic duo!
